Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: [Insert effective date] · Last Updated: [Insert last updated date] · Version 2026-07-v1

JLYCC is a nonprofit Christian organization that provides Bible learning, discipleship, ministry development, and faith-based formation activities for its members and participants. It is not presented as a formal school, college, university, or government-accredited academic institution. Any assessments, progress records, certificates, or completion records issued through this platform are internal organizational records unless explicitly stated otherwise.

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the ISU enrollment system, participant portal, learning-record features, and related services.

Nature of the Organization

JLYCC is a nonprofit Christian organization that offers Bible learning, discipleship, ministry development, and faith formation activities. Participation in ISU does not constitute enrollment in a formal school, college, or university. Completion of a program does not automatically result in a government-recognized diploma, academic credit, college units, professional licensure, a formal academic degree, or government accreditation. Any certificate issued is a certificate of participation, completion, ministry training, or internal learning achievement unless expressly stated otherwise.

Acceptance

By creating an account, submitting an enrollment application, re-enrolling, or using the participant portal, the user confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions and acknowledged the Privacy Policy. For minors, acceptance is also required from a parent or legal guardian.

Accurate Information

Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information. Users must not:

  • Impersonate another person
  • Submit false documents
  • Create duplicate participant identities
  • Use another participant's account
  • Modify protected records without authorization
  • Provide an email address or mobile number they do not control

The organization may require identity verification and supporting documents.

ISU Member ID

An approved first-time participant will receive a permanent ISU Member ID in the format ISU-YYYY-####. This identifier is an internal permanent membership and learning-record number — not a government-issued student number or official academic registration number. It belongs to one canonical participant record, must not be transferred or shared publicly, must be used for authorized program and enrollment transactions, and remains the same across future terms unless formally corrected by the registrar. Possession of an ISU Member ID alone does not prove identity or authorize account access.

Account Security

Users are responsible for protecting their passwords, verification codes, recovery links, and authenticated devices, and must immediately report suspected unauthorized access. The organization will never ask a participant to send their password by email, chat, or SMS.

Age Requirement

JLYCC may accept participants who are 13 years old. This is not school admission. Participants who are under 18 years old may join with the verified consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Certificates

Any certificate issued through this platform is a Certificate of Participation, Certificate of Completion, Ministry Training Completion, Bible Learning Program Completion, or Discipleship Program Completion. Terms such as Diploma, Degree, or Transcript of Records are not used unless legally reviewed and authorized.

Enrollment

Submitting an application does not guarantee admission, class placement, subject availability, scholarship eligibility, or final enrollment. Enrollment may depend on eligibility, document verification, available capacity, academic requirements, payment requirements, program rules, enrollment schedules, and institutional approval. The institution may open, close, suspend, or limit enrollment by semester, program, or capacity.

Re-Enrollment

Returning participants must use their existing participant identity and ISU Member ID. Creating a new identity to bypass holds, requirements, duplicate checks, or account restrictions is prohibited.

Learning Records and Assessment Results

Only officially published assessment results are considered available through the participant portal. Draft, pending, or unapproved results are not final. Corrections must follow the organization's authorized review and approval process. Users must not attempt to alter, scrape, download in bulk, or access another participant's learning records.

Facilitators and Program Information

Facilitator names, schedules, sections, and approved institutional contact information are provided for legitimate program use. Users must not misuse, publish, sell, or harass others using information obtained from the platform.

Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Attempt unauthorized access
  • Bypass rate limits or security controls
  • Automate repeated retrieval or reset requests
  • Upload malware or harmful files
  • Probe for vulnerabilities without written authorization
  • Interfere with system availability
  • Extract personal or academic data
  • Use the platform for fraud, harassment, or illegal activity

Availability

The institution may perform maintenance, updates, emergency restrictions, or service interruptions. Reasonable efforts are made to preserve submitted records and communicate material disruptions, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

Communications

Users agree to receive essential communications related to enrollment, student-number issuance, account activation, password reset, security notifications, academic records, and institutional announcements. Optional promotional communications require separate consent where applicable.

Suspension and Termination

Access may be restricted or suspended for security threats, fraudulent information, policy violations, unauthorized access attempts, legal or institutional requirements, or account compromise. Suspension of portal access does not automatically erase official academic records.

Intellectual Property

Website content, branding, software, templates, and institutional materials may be protected by intellectual-property rights. Users may access them only for authorized personal, enrollment, or academic purposes.

Limitation and Responsibility

[Placeholder — the final Terms must include legally reviewed provisions appropriate to the institution's jurisdiction concerning warranties, liability, disputes, governing law, and remedies before publication.]

Updates to the Terms

The institution may update these Terms and Conditions. Material changes will display an updated version, effective date, a summary or notice of material changes, and require renewed acceptance when applicable.
