Data Storage and Security

The system uses Supabase and approved service providers to store and process data. Security controls include authentication, Row Level Security, role-based access, encryption in transit, secure password handling, private document storage, rate limiting, recovery-token protection, audit logging, backup and recovery procedures, and restricted administrative access. No system can guarantee absolute security, but reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are maintained.

ISU Member IDs and Learning Records

ISU Member IDs, internal assessment results, program assignments, facilitator information, and learning records are confidential. Participants may access only their own authorized records. Facilitators may access only their assigned participants and programs. Staff access follows approved responsibilities and permissions.

Data Retention

Records are kept only for the period required for academic administration, legal obligations, institutional policies, dispute resolution, and legitimate recordkeeping — including unsuccessful applications, student records, grades, documents, audit logs, recovery requests, security records, and communications. Information is securely deleted or anonymized when retention is no longer required, unless permanent academic retention is legally or institutionally required.

The website may use essential cookies or similar technologies for authentication, session security, enrollment progress, fraud prevention, and user preferences. Nonessential tracking is not used without appropriate notice or consent.

Children and Minors

When applicants are minors, parental or guardian information and consent are collected where required by applicable law or institutional policy. No more information than necessary is collected from minors.
